PMUni workshop Vienna & Board Meeting (June 3rd 2009)

The 1st PMUni workshop 2009 took place in Vienna, Austria. The workshop, organized by Roland Gareis and the PROJEKTMANAGEMENT GROUP, WU Vienna University of Economics and Business, focused on the latest research news from the partners and “Sustainable Development & Project Management”.
Pernille Eskerod (University of Southern Denmark), Rodney Turner (University of Limerick), Darren Dalcher (Middlesex University), Svetlana Cicmil (Univeristy of the WEst of England), Roland Gareis and Martina Huemann (PROJECT MANAGEMENT GROUP) reported on the latest news in research at their institutions. In terms of “Sustainable Development & Project Management” Andre Martinuzzi (Research Institute for Managing Sustainablity), Roland Gareis and Martina Huemann (PROJEKTMANAGEMENT GROUP), Lynn Crawford (Bond University), and Gilbert Silvius (University of Applied Science Utrecht) presented their ideas about researching and teaching sustainability in project management. Furthermore, the 3rd PMUni Board Meeting took place. The current status and the budget of 2009 were discussed.
